We are parents of a son that has been healed by the grace of God from a 10-year addiction to opioids. At one point in our lives, we were dealing with the heaviness that we as parents and/or family members face as a loved one is struggling with overcoming addiction. We were dealing with not only the addiction component, but also law enforcement as well as the overwhelming and complex emotions that parents and family feels as they witness the loved one’s struggle.
We understand from experience that feeling of not having anyone to turn to for help, guidance, and healing. So, we feel called and are making ourselves readily available to provide local support as facilitators of the PALs support peer group.
Our goal is to not only provide support in a loving and safe environment for all, but to also provide education to others who have found themselves in this position and need assistance with navigating through their emotions as they are on the journey to healing for themselves.
Parents of Addicted Loved Ones (PAL) is a faith based national program that is here to help you on your journey.
